Breckenridge Oktoberfest 2025: Prost to 29 Years!
Fall is here, and in Breckenridge that means one thing—Oktoberfest is back on Main Street! This year marks the 29th annual celebration, bringing three full days of beer, food, music, and family fun to the heart of downtown. Every September, thousands of visitors flock to Breckenridge from across Colorado (and beyond) to raise a stein, enjoy live music, and soak up the festive mountain atmosphere.
As a part of the Breckenridge community, our team loves celebrating the traditions that make this town so special—and Oktoberfest is one of our favorites.
What You Need to Know Before You Go

Free to attend – no admission tickets required

Reusable Cups – all beverages are poured in reusable cups to reduce waste

Cashless payments only – credit or debit cards required for food, drink, and stein purchases

Collectible steins – available for pre-order or onsite purchase, but they sell out quickly

Parking & transportation – Main Street is closed; use Breck FreeRide or Summit Stage to get to town or park in the South Gondola parking garage
-
Pet Policy – for the safety and comfort of all festivalgoers, pets are not allowed at Oktoberfest, with the exception of service animals

Oktoberfest 5K Trail Run at 10:00 AM (free beer for runners 21+)

Keg tapping and beer tents open at 11:00 AM

All-day music featuring Neue Polka, Polkanauts, and Those Austrian Guys

Stein Hoisting Contest on the Main Stage at 3:30 PM
Sunday, September 14 | 10:30 AM–5:00 PM

Morning performance from Gora Gora Orkestar at 10:30 AM

Keg tapping and more live music throughout the day, including Denver’s Thirsty Five and Those Austrian Guys

Kids’ Costume Contest at 12:30 PM

Baby Bjorn Stein Hoisting Contest followed by the traditional Stein Hoisting Contest at 2:30 PM

Festival finale with Those Austrian Guys from 3:00–5:00 PM
And don’t forget, the Family Fun Zone at the Riverwalk Center will be open all weekend with bounce houses, games, and activities perfect for kids.
